Teddy bears picnic

On Tuesday everyone in Reception went on a teddy bears picnic. We put our teddies on our backs and headed out on an adventure around the school grounds. We went on a bear hunt, took part in bear races, had bear stories under a tree, enjoyed a picnic lunch and had loads of fun.

Mini beast hunt

This week we went outside into our quad area and had a mini beast hunt. The children worked in groups and recorded what they found on a tick sheet. Everyone enjoyed it.

100% attendance party

Well done to these two on achieving 100% attendance all year. They both enjoyed attending the 100% attendance party. Well done girls.

Butterflies

This week we released our butterflies into the garden area of the quad. We watched them change and grow from caterpillars to chrysalis and then beautiful butterflies.

Class Superstars

Our first superstar this week always comes to school with a big smile on her face. She is now a lot keener to complete her work in class too. Keep it up.

Our other superstar has had such a busy week in school and has adapted well with everything that has been going on. Well done.

Maypole dancing in PE

During the month of May we enjoy some country dancing around the maypole in our PE lessons. The children love to skip around holding the ribbons and others clap in time to the music.

This week we welcomed 2 very cute little chicks into our class. The children have all enjoyed watching them hatch and grow and also have held them.
